"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning, but for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

About Krystle
My Therapeutic Styles
Integrative Play Therapy
Attachment-Based
Hi, I'm Krystle and it's my passion being a counselor for those in need or who're just seeking some positive change in their life. I enjoy working with all age ranges impacted by relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, mood disorders and other clinical mental health challenges.
My primary specialty however, is play therapy for children impacted by a range of symptoms - from stress & anxiety, relational trauma, autism, and developmental concerns. I believe that children understand, explore, learn, and express themselves through the language of play, therefore the therapist must be able to meet them in that space and help them heal through that language.

I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2013 with a Masters degree in counseling and guidance and have been licensed as therapist since 2014. I'm currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) certificate and hold a certificate in DIR Floortime© which I use specifically for children with autism and special needs.
